Quadri Aruna is a historic figure in table tennis, becoming the first African player to reach the quarterfinals of both the Olympics (Rio 2016) and the World Championships (2021). A former World No. 10 and the 2014 ITTF Male Star Player of the Year, he has dominated the continent as a multi-time African Champion. He is widely celebrated for his explosive power and for breaking the Top 10 barrier for African athletes.
