Ese Brume is a Nigerian long jump specialist and one of Africa's most successful track and field athletes. She holds the African Record in the long jump with a personal best of 7.17m. Brume famously ended a 13-year medal drought for Nigerian athletics by winning Olympic Bronze (2020) and has since won World Championships Silver (2022). She is a two-time Commonwealth Games Gold medalist and a three-time African Senior Champion.
