Alia Atkinson is a legendary Jamaican swimmer and five-time Olympian. In 2014, she became the first Afro-Jamaican woman to win a world title and holds world records in the short-course 50m and 100m breaststroke. Since retiring in 2021, the Texas A&M alumna has focused on water safety advocacy and serving as Chairperson of the World Aquatics Athlete Committee.
